Jeremiah Crowell is a Brooklyn-based documentary director and Emmy award nominated cinematographer whose work has appeared on PBS, The Discovery Channel and The History Channel. His work on independent films — which includes narrative works — has debuted at numerous film festivals including Sundance and Slamdance.

John Sikes
Producer


John has been making films for over 5 years while working as a managing member of Sirk Productions. He recently produced
Anytown, USA which has won awards at the St. Paul Minneapolis and Trenton film festivals and was recently selected to be shown at the Atlanta Film Festival. Before joining Sirk, John earned his Master in Public Health from Boston University and went on to work as a consultant for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) where he worked on several worldwide health education programs. His passion for social issues and experience in filmmaking are a valued addition to the team.

Todd Chandler
Editor/Producer


Todd Chandler is a filmmaker, educator, and activist based in Brooklyn, New York. Combining media with community organizing, he has worked on projects that deal with a range of issues including police brutality, capital punishment, perceptions of Islam in the United States, and the future of race in America. He is an accomplished film editor who's clients include MTV Networks, the Discovery Channel, Virgin Records, and the Ford Foundation. In addition to being lead editor on Marketbound, he is currently director of the Van Lier Media Artist Fellowship at Global Action Project, a youth media organization in New York City. For the past year, he has been the full-time supervising editor at Witness.

Heather McGeory
Consultant


Heather is a graduate of the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs where she studied economics and social policy. She currently works in environmental and social finance, helping European and Japanese firms invest in infrastructure projects in developing countries. She began working in documentary film as a field coordinator on
Year of the Child, a film about children around the world, and has since co-produced films in Thailand, Nepal and India.

Mark Terk
Executive Producer


Mark was born and raised in the cultural melting pot of New York City. He has 3 masters degrees (2 from Washington University, Saint Louis and the 3rd from New York University). He has worked and studied at the International Center of Photography and the Carl Jung Center among others. Mark has traveled the world extensively and has a true passion and talent for capturing the beauty of life around him. One of Mark's unique traits is his willingness to search high and low for the perfect shot. He has hung out of helicopters, explored dangerous and exotic lands, and is an accomplished master diver. Mark lives his life with the motto "Peace, Equanimity, Love and Joy."
